A Child's Prayer by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (album Love is Spoken here) *I do not own the music nor the picture* Lyrics= Night time, quiet time, Loved ones gather at day's end. I hold them close, I help them know That God will always be their friend. Then just before I say goodnight My little ones kneel by my chair. I close my eyes, I dim the lights, And listen to this simple prayer: Heavenly Father, are you really there? And do you here and answer ev're child's prayer? Some say that heaven is far away, But I feel is close around me as I pray. Heavenly Father I remeber now Something that Jesus told disiples long ago: "Suffer the children to come to me." Father, in prayer I'm coming now to thee. Pray, He is there. Speak, He is list'ning. You are His child, His love now surround you. He hears your prayer, He loves the children. Of such is the kingdom, the Kingdom of heav'n. Heavenly Father, are you really there? He hears and answers every child's prayer. Please hear my prayer.
Okay, I need some help here. I've been looking for the sheet music for this arrangement for a while now, but everywhere i hear it, it seems to be by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Apparently it's not, because I haven't been able to find it in any of their recordings, and I'm a little skeptical about buying sheets without at least a sample of what I'm getting. I'm almost sure the composer is Albert Hay Malotte and the arrangement is probably by Carl Deis. If anyone out there has heard this version, which imo is the absolute BEST out there, PLEASE let me know in the comments, or pm me. I'm looking for this exact version, which I don't think is too much to ask, but I'd be very grateful if I got some kind of help. Thanks! ps sorry 'bout the .gif I used. I didn't really put much thought into this, since I just really wanted to get the song out there.
I believe this the BEST Andrea Bocelli song EVER. Listen as he joins the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in Salt Lake City, Utah for an unforgettable rendition of "The Lord's Prayer." My apologies as the end has been cut off I have reposted the full version on my channel.
In 2009, Andrea Bocelli and David Foster collaborated with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on a rendition of The Lord's Prayer. This is from the DVD "My Christmas", which is an absolutely amazing album. This YouTube version was ripped and uploaded directly from the raw DVD VOB files, which means quality should be higher than some of the other HD versions which are basically photocopies of a photocopy. You can get the album from any of the links below: - My Christmas: Amazon MP3 downloads: amzn.to - My Christmas: Amazon CD: amzn.to - My Christmas: Deluxe CD and DVD combo: amzn.to - My Christmas: DVD: amzn.to

This is the all-time Best Andrea Bocelli song ever in my opinion. For your enjoyment he joins the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in Salt Lake City, Utah for an unforgettable rendition of "The Lord's Prayer." Listen on Amazon.com: tinyurl.com David Foster sets the stage for the music in this beautiful PBS performance. A song about Christ's prayer to His Father in Heaven. This beats adeste fidelis, angels we have heard on high, God Bless us everyone, caro gesu bambino, cantique de noel, and any of his other hits, anytime...but see for yourself. There's no Sarah Brightman but the Mormon Tabernacle Choir does it even better! This truly is his the "besame mucho Andrea Bocelli"
Capping off an intense week of multiple recording sessions inside the historic Tabernacle in Salt Lake City, Andrea Bocelli and David Foster joined the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square for a few hours this month (see video below). "The Lord's Prayer," featuring Andrea Bocelli, the choir and orchestra, and David Foster at the organ will be part of a PBS Christmas special produced by WNET. After several takes, David Foster then switched to the piano to accompany both the choir and orchestra for "The Prayer," a song he personally composed, which will be featured in an upcoming choir and orchestra recording. Between takes of the recording process, Bocelli sat down at the Tabernacle's famous pipe organ and gave an impromptu recital of "Ave Maria" while accompanying himself. "It was beautiful; his sweet voice carried throughout the Tabernacle," said choir member Robb Cundick, who also said the unplanned performance was his favorite part of the afternoon. After the conclusion of "The Lord's Prayer," Bocelli said he had enjoyed his day in Salt Lake as well as singing in the Tabernacle. He complimented the Tabernacle acoustics and said that the entire experience was very moving. "For me it was a huge experience," Bocelli said. "The quality of the choir is very high. ... The orchestra also (is) very inspiring."
Joseph Smith's First prayer by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (album Praise to the Man) *I do not own the music nor the picture* lyrics= 1. Oh, how lovely was the morning! Radiant beamed the sun above. Bees were humming, sweet birds singing, Music ringing thru the grove, When within the shady woodland Joseph sought the God of love, When within the shady woodland Joseph sought the God of love. 2. Humbly kneeling, sweet appealing— 'Twas the boy's first uttered prayer— When the pow'rs of sin assailing Filled his soul with deep despair; But undaunted, still he trusted In his Heav'nly Father's care; But undaunted, still he trusted In his Heav'nly Father's care. 3. Suddenly a light descended, Brighter far than noonday sun, And a shining, glorious pillar O'er him fell, around him shone, While appeared two heav'nly beings, God the Father and the Son, While appeared two heav'nly beings, God the Father and the Son. 4. "Joseph, this is my Beloved; Hear him!" Oh, how sweet the word! Joseph's humble prayer was answered, And he listened to the Lord. Oh, what rapture filled his bosom, For he saw the living God; Oh, what rapture filled his bosom, For he saw the living God.

For you. when you're in the world and no one seems to be listening.. At least One always is. Lyrics: Ere you left your room this morning, Did you think to pray? In the name of Christ our Savior, Did you sue for loving favor, As a shield today? Chorus: Oh, how praying rests the weary! Prayer will change the night to day; So when life seems dark and dreary, Dont forget to pray. When your heart was filled with anger, Did you think to pray? Did you plead for grace, my brother, That you might forgive another Who had crossed your way? When sore trials came upon you, Did you think to pray? When your soul was bowed in sorrow, Balm of Gilead did you borrow At the gates of day?
