The named Khusugtun ethnic ballad group was founded under the National Folk Song and Dance Academic Ensemble of Mongolia in 2009, that consists of 6 high-skilled musicians of morin khuur as Horse fiddle, yatga as national zither, guitar, dombor as Kazakh folk musical instrument, limbe national flute, drum as djembe (African drum played with bare hands), ikh khuuur as a great horse fiddle. During our folk performance we could improve our playing with the polyphone and khoomii throat-singing (involve the production of exquisite diaphonic melodies using the mouth, throat and chest) by the ethnic ballad style, where are included playing of the musical composition of many national folk songs in harmony of the throat-singing. In this CD are included the most famous 10 songs of the buriad, torguud, chantuu, tsaatan, khalkh and other nationalities and two melodies of the young musical compositors inclusively. At the same time our folk group had participated in the International Symposium and Festival of the throat singing organized in May of 2009, where we won the Grand Prix award.
Jantsannorov, Natsagiin(1948- ) is a leading composer in Mongolia. He is famous for the soundtrack of the film "Mandukhai the Wise" and many other popular songs. He also plays a important role of cultural policies, because he worked in the Ministry of Culture and he was close to Filatova, who was a wife of Tsedenbal. He was a one of people who established State Morin Khuur ensemble and made morin khuur a symbol of Mongolia. He studied musicology in Kiev Conservatory. This sonata was written in 1977 when he studied in Kiev.

La musica di Hulan attinge dal repertorio tradizionale, che talvolta arrangia, e dal ricco repertorio dei più importanti compositori mongoli del XX secolo quali: N. Jantsannorov, L. Murdorj, J. Mend-Amar, Sharav, le cui opere, sempre ispirate dalla ricchissima tradizione popolare, non mancano di ammiccamenti al gusto Occidentale, parte del loro ampio bagaglio formativo. Sul tappeto sonoro realizzato da un morin khuur (violino mongolo), uno yochin (salterio) e due yatga (cetre - arpe) si innestano con un ritmo mai casuale, i canti virtuosistici con le tecniche dell'urtiin duu e del bogino duu, le danze tradizionali ed i numeri circensi di contorsionismo. La regia dei vari spettacoli -- concerti proposti, punta ad esaltare le molteplici potenzialità dei singoli esecutori, mettendole al servizio di un progetto dagli ampi orizzonti culturali ed artistici, lontano da possibili scivoloni puramente folkloristici. Album Chinggis Ayalguu 2009 - The ensemble Khan Bogd consists of young and talented Mongolian artists who have already made experiences with concerts in Europe and the United States of America. They got to know each other during their studies and since then have worked together in various projects. The Mongolian songs comprise an enormous repertory. Music spread from house to house on the occasion of festivities or by means of teaching. The family or clan gatherings offered a good opportunity to meet and sing together, to learn from others and take home a new melody. In this way, the old musical structures performed in all different parts of Mongolia have been conserved by the local masters for the whole nation. With the new edition, we want to put a more intensive focus on the vocals of the women in the steppes. There are performed songs which emphasize the role of women in the social responsibility of these nomads. Longing for a lover (love songs), working songs (about how they handle their animals, for example the act of milking), lullabies (responsibility as mother and guardian), healing songs (female shaman responsibility for the well-being of the family), wedding songs, dirges and also ritual songs for special occasions (family festivities, phases of the moon, seasons, etc.).
