Description: 25 years of my life and still I'm trying to get up that great big hill of hope For a destination I realized quickly when I knew I should That the world was made up of this Brotherhood of man For whatever that means and so I cry somethimes when I'm lying in bed To still get it all out what's in my head Then I start feeling a little peculiar and so I wake in the morning and I step Outside I take deep breath I get real high Then I scream from the top of my lungs What's goin' on And I say hey... And I say hey what's goin' on And I say hey... I said hey what's goin' on And I try, oh my God do I try I try all the time In this institution And I pray, oh my God do I pray I pray every single day For a revolution and so I cry sometimes when I'm lying in my bed To still get it all out what's in my head Then I start feeling a little peculiar So I wake in the morning and I step outside I take a deep breaththen I get real high Then I scream from the top of my lungs What's goin' on And I say hey... And I say hey what's goin' on And I say hey... I said hey what's goin' on And I say hey... And I say hey what's goin' on And I say hey... I said hey what's goin' on 25 years of my life and still I'm trying to get up that great big hill of hope For a destination

This is as old upload. Click for a much higher quality video: www.youtube.com This is Time (The Dark Side of the Moon, 1973), from Pink Floyd, live at PULSE; recorded at Earls Court, London, in 1994. Roger Waters, one of the the composers of Time, is not in this show. Current members of Pink Floyd are: David Gilmour (guitars, lead vocals) • Richard Wright(keyboards, secondary vocals, backing vocals) • Nick Mason(drums, percussion); Lyrics: Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today And then one day you find ten years have got behind you No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking And racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older Shorter of breath and one day closer to death Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way The time has gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say Home, home again I like to be here when I can When I come home cold and tired It's good to warm my bones beside the fire Far away across the ...

Pink Family Portrait Live In Wembley From her I'm Not Dead Tour DVD released on April 16th 2007
Directed by Adrian Maben Produced by Steve O'Rourke, Michele Arnaud, Reiner Moritz Starring Pink Floyd Music by Pink Floyd Cinematography Willy Kurant, Gabor Pogany Editing by Jose Pinheiro Distributed by Universal Home Video Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii is a 1972 film featuring Pink Floyd performing six songs in the ancient Roman amphitheatre in Pompeii, Italy. It was directed by Adrian Maben and recorded in the month of October with 24 studio-quality tracks without a live audience. The performances of "Echoes," "A Saucerful of Secrets," and "One of These Days" were filmed from October 4, 1971 to October 7, 1971. The remaining songs were filmed in a Paris studio, along with additional front projection footage for insertion into the Pompeii performances. The sequences in Paris were filmed in late 1971/early 1972, and can be distinguished by the absence of Richard Wright's beard. This version was released in cinemas in September 1972 and is also included on the DVD edition as an extra feature. In August 1974, another version was released combining the original film with supposed recording sessions of The Dark Side of the Moon at Abbey Road Studios. These sessions were actually staged for the film, as the recording of the album had been completed when these sessions were filmed in January 1973 and the band was mixing the album at the time. Track listing - 2003 Director's cut 02:13 1. "Echoes, Part 1"/"On the Run" (Studio Footage) (Uncredited) (from Meddle ...

[Video #73] from www.youtube.com the address for MetalGuruMessiah's Musical Paint Box! Check out my other videos! Featured in A Handful of Pink Floyd Videos: www.youtube.com "Pigs on the Wing" is a two-part song by the progressive rock band Pink Floyd from their 1977 concept album, Animals, starting and wrapping up the album. This video features a live version taken from an Oakland, CA concert in 1977 where Part 1 was followed by "Dogs" and then Part 2. I've combined parts one and two. This video was originally created for the studio versions, w/Snowy White's guitar solo tying them together, (Video #72 if you happen to live in that one country where it's apparently still playing), but since (almost) no one can see it, I dug through some old live boots and reedited the video. 3rd time's the charm (hopefully) as I had previously reedited and uploaded a cover version of the track (also #73), but I just wasn't feeling it, so it's now been replaced with this live version. I sure wish my original video would be allowed to play as it remains my preferred version of the song..and the video as well. Oh well, maybe some other day? Animals ties Wish You Were Here as my favorite Pink Floyd album. It's a extremely dark album, but it captures the band at the height of their considerable musical prowess. I hope this video is (finally!) the start of several I hope to do by Pink Floyd....I won't rest until I've taken a shot at a video for every track on both Wish You Were Here and Animals ...
This is a video of Pink Floyd performing one of the very 1st songs that rocketed them into fame. No David Gilmore in this video. It is a performance in the late 1960's, when Syd Barrett was still the defining force of the psychedelic sounds of Pink Floyd. Syd was later replaced by David Gilmore, who's guitar stylings changed Pink Floyd's sound for ever. Definitely not a bad thing. This is very rare and very old and is a perfect example of Pink Floyd's sound before David Gilmore. This video is my tribute to the late, great, Syd Barrett. May you rest in peace and be surrounded by music, which is what you loved best in life. Those who are true Pink Floyd fans know that, even though you left the band early (do to circumstances beyond your control), you were and always will be a STAR member of Pink Floyd! c.1967 protected
