Description: I made this file for general benefit of those who want to use this for meditation. 108 times chanting with soothing music.Namaḥ Śivāya is the most holy name of God Śiva, recorded at the very center of the Vedas and elaborated in the Śaiva Agamas.Na is the Lord's concealing grace, Ma is the world, Śi stands for Śiva, Va is His revealing grace, Ya is the soul. The five elements, too, are embodied in this ancient formula for invocation. Na is earth, Ma is water, Śi is fire, Vā is air, and Ya is ether, or Ākāśa. Many are its meanings.Namaḥ Śivaya has such power, the mere intonation of these syllables reaps its own reward in salvaging the soul from bondage of the treacherous instinctive mind and the steel bands of a perfected externalized intellect. Namaḥ Śivāya quells the instinct, cuts through the steel bands and turns this intellect within and on itself, to face itself and see its ignorance. Sages declare that mantra is life, that mantra is action, that mantra is love and that the repetition of mantra, japa, bursts forth wisdom from within.---- From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aum_Namah_Shivaya

The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra (Sanskrit: महामृत्युंजय मंत्र, Mahāmṛtyuṃjaya Mantra "great death-conquering mantra"), also called the Tryambakam Mantra, is a verse of the Rigveda (RV 7.59.12).It is addressed to Tryambaka "the three-eyed one" Or Lord Shiva. The verse also recurs in the Yajurveda (TS 1.8.6.i; VS 3.60) Along with the Gayatri mantra it is one of the most widely known mantras of contemporary Hinduism. The mantra reads ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् । उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान् मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात् ॥ (IAST transliteration): aum tryambakaṃ yajāmahe sugandhiṃ puṣṭi-vardhanam urvārukam iva bandhanān mṛtyor mukṣīya māmṛtāt This great mantra dedicated to Rudra as Mrityunjaya is found in the Rig Veda. It is called the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra, the Great Death-Conquering mantra. It is a mantra that has many names and forms. It is called the Rudra mantra, referring to the furious aspect of Shiva; the Tryambakam mantra, alluding to Shiva's three eyes; and it is sometimes known as the Mrita-Sanjivini mantra because it is a component of the "life-restoring" practice given to the primordial sage Shukra after he had completed an exhausting period of austerity. The Maha Mrityunjaya mantra is hailed by the sages as the heart of the Veda. Along with the Gayatri mantra it holds the highest place among the many mantras used for contemplation and meditation Word to Word Meaning ...

I have some friends that would love to start chanting (religious or other wise) but don't know how to begin, this is the first of a series of mantra chanting videos to help people who want to start chanting and don't know how to begin, or if you just want to relax to chants, enjoy. OM NAMAH SHIVAYA this sample is from "OM NAMAH SHIVAYA" by Krishna Das "This mantra has no direct translation. The sounds relate directly to the principles which govern each of the first five chakras on the spine...Earth, water, fire, air, ether. Notice that this does not refer to the chakras themselves which have a different set of seed sounds, but rather, the principles which govern those chakras in their place. A very rough, non-literal translation could be something like, 'Om and salutations to that which I am capable of becoming.' This mantra will start one out on the path of subtle development of spiritual attainments. It is the beginning on the path of Siddha Yoga, or the Yoga of Perfection of the Divine Vehicle." -The Ancient Power of Sanskrit Mantra and Ceremony: Volume I" by Thomas Ashley-Farrand

Free MP3 Download of Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha 108 Times Ganesh Mantra high quality MP4

Ganesh Mantra The name Ganesha is a Sanskrit compound, joining the words gana (Sanskrit: गण; IAST: gaṇa), meaning a group, multitude, or categorical system and isha (Sanskrit: ईश; IAST: īśa), meaning lord or master. The word gaņa when associated with Ganesha is often taken to refer to the gaņas, a troop of semi-divine beings that form part of the retinue of Shiva (IAST: Śiva). Ganesha is Vighneshvara or Vighnaraja, the Lord of Obstacles, both of a material and spiritual order. He is popularly worshipped as a remover of obstacles, though traditionally he also places obstacles in the path of those who need to be checked According to Kundalini yoga, Ganesha resides in the first chakra, called Muladhara (mūlādhāra). Mula means "original, main"; adhara means "base, foundation". The muladhara chakra is the principle on which the manifestation or outward expansion of primordial Divine Force rests. Vakratunda Mahaakaaya Suuryakoti Samaprabha Nirvighnam Kurume Deva Shubha Kaaryeshhu Sarvadaa There are many chants to Ganesh, but a simple and powerful one is this: Om gam ganapataye namaha! A very loose translation might be: Om = Salutations! Everyone wake up! Gam = The secret power sound of Ganesh. It is his "seed syllable" or bija mantra. Ganapataye = Another name of Ganesh, the breaker of obstacles. Namaha = Yo! Ganesh! You da God! The pronunciation is also pretty easy: Om = ohm or aum Gam = Somewhere between "gahm" and "gum". In some dialects it is "guhng". Ganapataye = gah ...

In this video, we chant the mantra "Shreem" 108 times. We are also viewing money (or wealth) falling from the "sky" in front of Lakshmi, just in front a 1 million dollar bill. If you would like, have your mala beads ready and you can either watch the video or close your eyes and chant "Shreem" 108 times. Then pray to Goddess Lakshmi to bring you all that represents wealth and beauty so that you can live an outrageously wonderful life and help those less fortunate. Om Shreem Lakshmiya Namaha!

Free MP3 Download of Buddhist Money Mantra (108 Times) high quality MP4

The most accurate Sanskrit form of this Buddhist money mantra is OM VASUDHARE SVAHA (pronounced as OM WA SU DHA REI SWA HA). On several occasions, the All-Compassionate Buddha shared with us practices that will enhance our wealth, so that His students may pursue their spiritual goals with less physical distraction. One of the wealth deities introduced by the Buddha is the bodhisattva, Vasudhara. Vasudhara, whose name means 'stream of treasure' in Sanskrit, is mentioned in the Mahayana sutra, the Vasudhara Dharani (also known as the Inquiry of the Layman Sucandra). In recent years, 2 well-respected Chinese Mahayana monks, Venerable Hui Lyu (慧律) and Venerable Hai Tao (海涛) have propagated the Vasudhara Dharani and taught the money mantra in it. In Tibetan Buddhism, Vasudhara (known as Norgyun or Norgyunma in Tibet) is regarded as a primary 'Wealth Deity'. The Kagyu, Sakya, and Gelug schools include Vasudhara in their spiritual practices and perform Vasudhara-related pujas mainly for lay believers. Vasudhara's popularity, however, peaks in Nepal where she has a strong following among the Newars of the Kathmandu Valley, and is thus a central figure in Newar Buddhism. She is given the name Shiskar Apa in the Indian districts of Lahul and Spiti. For this mantra to be effective, you should: 1. Recite this mantra 800 times the first time 2. Recite it 3 times a day, once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once at night, 108 times each thereafter 3. Maintain a pure mind ...
