Free MP3 Download of 1982-83 NBC "Just Watch Us Now" Fall Promo high quality MP4

NBC was just begging for TV viewers to "watch us now". But by this time, former ABC alumnus Brandon Tartikoff was turning this once proud network around and would put it back on top of the Nielsens. This is a full fall promo for NBC's 1982-83 season. RIP Gary Coleman! We love you! **This is from Echoes of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s commercials and promos collection**

Free MP3 Download of My 1982 commercial reel high quality MP4

Here are some commercials I made between 1978 and 1982. Tools were a pair of 3/4" edit decks, a TBC, and a single buss Central Dynamics switcher. No DVEs existed at that point in time. Thanks to Jack Havey at Ad Media, Stew Vreeland at ST Vreeland Agency, Mike Oransky, and Ed Zilinsky (among others)

NBC Network - Betcha Don't Know - "Twins" (PSA, 1982)

Here's a public service message (announcement) from NBC, in association with the CTW (Children's Television Workshop) - Betcha Don't Know. This one teaches about the different types of twins and features Erik Estrada. These aired for awhile during commercial breaks on NBC's Saturday Morning Cartoons lineup. This aired on local Chicago TV on Saturday, September 4th 1982. About The Museum of Classic Chicago Television: The Museum of Classic Chicago Television's primary mission is the preservation and display of off-air, early home videotape recordings (70s and early 80s, primarily) recorded off of any and all Chicago TV channels; footage which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved digitally. Even though (mostly) short clips are displayed here, we preserve the entire broadcasts in our archives - the complete programs with breaks (or however much is present on the tape), for historical purposes. For information on how to help in our mission, to donate or lend tapes to be converted to DVD, and to view more of the 3800+ (and counting) video clips available for viewing in our online archive, please visit us at: www.fuzzymemories.tv

News & Ads from 1982

Some of the oldest stuff I got -- from Dayton, Ohio's WKEF-22 (NBC). If this was Memorial Day weekend '82, that means I was less than a year old when this was recorded! I did cut out the "Guest Opinion" bit; it was just 2 minutes of some lawyer droning on about kids in foster care. I'm also kicking myself for erasing everything else that was on this tape! There used to be a LOT more commercials here, but I stupidly recorded the "Survivor" finale over almost all of the tape back in 2000. What you see here is the little bit that was left at the tail end. If you're wondering who that scientist at the beginning of the clip was, go to www.thegeniusfactory.net and find out; it's actually pretty interesting.
