Meditative song of Taizè
Bel Canto's performance of the song Nada te Turbe at the Mount Vernon High School choir's spring concert. Cellist: Jillian Walker (2010).
Dedicated to our beloved Angels, to all the dear ones that had to leave us way too soon... Solo Dios basta. Let nothing disturb you, let nothing make you afraid, if you have God you will want for nothing. God alone suffices. This is my version of "Nada te turbe", a song written by Jacques Berthier, based on a spanish text by Saint Teresa of Avila (1515-1582). I recorded it in a couple of hours, the same evening I was asked to sing it in remembrance of a special person that left this world way too soon... since then it has become a special song for me. A big thanks goes to Daniela, that helped me not only with her voice, but also with her patience and continuous support: you are special ------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you like what you see on my channel, don't forget to subscribe ;)
Nice Taizé Community song in latin - Nada Te Turbe. Iterated function system fractals evolving one into other by change in parameters and complex numbers. Many of figures have proper names, like Sierpinski triangle, Barnsley fern, Hexaflake or Vicsek fractal (cross). Some other just look nice. Probably because all creation tend to folow fractal patern;) In Latin: Nada te turbe, nada te espante; quien a Dios tiene nada le falta. Nada te turbe, nada te espante; solo Dios basta. Nothing can trouble nothing can frighten; those who seek God shall never go wanting. Nothing can trouble nothing can frighten; God alone fills us. Photos from taize.fr

Vertaling in Engels: Let nothing disturb you, nothing surprise you, all things pass; God does not change. Patience wins everything; whoever holds onto God lacks nothing; God alone is enough.
