Where do I start? For anyone not familiar, the character nicknamed "Sweetbread", in the movie "Cadence", sang a portion of this song in one scene. It has never been available commercially. Perhaps one day. There are a lot of rumors about the song, the lyrics, and Harry Stewart. Supposedly some lyrics were borrowed from another song without permission. I don't know if that was true, or if so, which song. ****** Update: thanks to styles4miles, I now know which song; "He'll Understand (And Say Well Done)." Although I would guess, that the song predates Johnny Cash. There are performances that seem to be much much earlier than JC. It's probably legalities keeping this from being released. Without question, it would be a big seller. I'm not an expert, but this is my effort to enhance and preserve the essence of this wonderful performance by Harry Stewart. Now this is the sad part. Comments posted in hundreds of spots, claim that Harry is homeless and living on the street somewhere. I don't know what path brought him to this place in his life, if it's true. I just wish We could help him. God Bless, Harry. *********************************************************************** There is no intent to infringe upon the rights of any and all copyright owners, or persons claiming ownership of any materials used in this video. This song is the closest thing to proof that a god exists! You'll most likely know it if you have ever seen the film, Cadence. Get off my video and go find the original if you haven't already! :) And no, I'm of no relation to Harry ;-) Melanie Stewart

Comedian and impersonator Allan Stewart's version of 'Keep Right on till the End of the Road'
Sooo...one day, my buddy Wes decided to stalk Harry Stewart and Michael Tillotson through an entire day in-game. Then this happened. It was very, very late at night and it was very spur of the moment, so I apologize for my tired speech and shaky camerawork. XD' The voices you hear are mine (Mister Stewart, as I introduce myself in the vid), Wes's, Mom's, and some laughter from ZonnXIII. Also a dog. Truly, this was an event to behold. I know the clip is long, but this is edited down from TWO HOURS. XD' See the bottom of this description for timestamps of key moments if you want to skip around. Recommend seeing the whole 'journey' for the full effect, though! Shout out to all my crew at sinnerssandwich.proboards.com - hope you like! =D 5 - Oncoming traffic. 9:08-10:49 - Issues with parked cars. 10:50-11:29 - Rain effects! 12:45-end - HOLY CRAP WUT
I remember Andy Stewart from when I was wearing short trousers he was a sound favourite of most British people especially his Harry Lauder songs, these being three of them. In the fifties there was a great national pride in the Union with Scotland; after all they had not long been through the ravages and rations of the war. Now what pride is there in anything? Sad init. Andy Stewart MBE (30 December 1933 - 11 October 1993) Scottish singer and entertainer. He was awarded an MBE in 1976. His Scottish humour, goes back to Sir Harry Lauder and music hall songs. Which he took into the 60's He was born in Glasgow, the son of a teacher. He had several hit singles Come in-Come in, Donald Where's Yer Troosers?, A Scottish Soldier (36 weeks in the UK Singles Chart in 1961), Campbeltown Loch, The Muckin' O' Geordie's Byre, The Road to Dundee, Tunes Of Glory, and Dr. Finlay (1965). He was the compere on the The White Heather Club. This was a BBC Scotland television programme that existed as an annual New Year's Eve party (1957 - 1968), and also as a weekly early evening series (1960 - 1968). "Donald Where's Yer Troosers?" was a hit in 1961 and again in 1989. Andy does an Elvis Presley impersonation half way through the song. In retirement he moved back to Arbroath and died there in 1993. I Love a Lassie I love a lassie, A bonnie, bonnie lassie, She's as sweet as the heather in the dell, She's as sweet as the heather, The bonnie bloomin' heather, Mary, my Scotch Bluebell.
