Simrat chhabra performing at a get together the soulful song rendered originally by Lata ji from the movie Bazaar, music by Khayaam and Lyrics by Mir Taki Mir.
Dikhayi diye yun ke bekhud kiya, Hamein aap se bhi juda kar chale' means 'Whenever I see you, I am so lost and unaware that I become distant even from you.' 'Jabheen sajda karte hi karte gayi, Haq-e-bandagi ham adaa kar chale' means 'When I start bowing to you I could not stop and bowed again and again, I fulfilled the duty of the faithful.' 'Parasthishkiya tak ke aye but tujhe, Nazar mein sabhon ki khuda kar chale' means 'I came thinking of you as an angel, but when I left everyone believed you to be the God.' The deeper translation is: Dikhayi Diye Yoon Ke Bekhudh Kiya This is the meaning of love. The only reality here is the object of love, God. Nothing else exists, not even your own self. One's existence ceases to exist and only the existence of the beloved is there. Here the author is saying that he is so immersed in love that his own existence has ended. She/He is drowning in love. This is how Radha feels about Krishna. Humein Aapse Bhi Judaa Kar Chale The love is so intense that it completely submerges the lover, such that this is how Krishna feels about Radha. That is how he becomes the slave of the servant. Jabhi Sajda Karte Hi Sarse Gayi He/She is so overwhelmed in the Glory of love, that he keeps bowing and bowing and bowing again and again - A million times I bow to you my Lord Haq-E-Bandigi Hum Ada Kar Chale This is very amusing. Here, although the author is drowning in love, even though he feels completely overwhelmed, he exerts his right (haq) to remain the ...
Khuda-e-Sukhan Mir Taqi Mir (Urdu: میر تقی میر) (b. 1723 - d. 20 September, 1810), whose original name was Mohammed Taqi (Urdu: محمد تقی) and takhallus (pen name) was Mir (Urdu: میر) (sometimes also spelt as Meer Taqi Meer), was the leading Urdu poet of the eighteenth century, and one of the pioneers who gave shape to the Urdu language itself. He was one of the principal poets of the Delhi School of the Urdu ghazal and remains arguably the foremost name in Urdu poetry often remembered as Khuda-e-Sukhan meaning God of poetry. He was born in Agra, India (called "Akbarabad" at the time), which at the time was ruled by the Mughals, in 1723. He left for Delhi, at the age of 11, following his father's death. His philosophy of life was formed primarily from his father, whose emphasis on the importance of love and the value of compassion remained with him through his life and imbued his poetry. At Delhi, he finished his education and joined a group of nobility as a courtier-poet. He lived much of his life in Mughal Delhi. However, after Ahmad Shah Abdali's sack of Delhi each year starting 1748, he eventually moved to the court of Asaf-ud-Daulah in Lucknow, at the king's invitation. Distressed to witness the plundering of his beloved Delhi, he gave vent to his feelings through some of his couplets. He remained in Lucknow for the remainder of his life. He died in Lucknow, of a purgative overdose, on 20 September 1810. The song in this video is sung by Lata Mangeshker for A Hindi ...
