Micu u pulici (Maurizio Scuncia) is one of the greatest calabrian comediant of all times.His peak popularity was during the 80's. He is now an "impresario" for Italian singers and he still does shows in Calabria and around the world obtaining great success.He was one of the special guest in the CD "CORI CALABRISI,anima gitana" only for the Canadian version of that Compact disc. This is a live performance at Fabrizia dance club (Pino Nesci),feb,2005.
Enzo is well known for his original and very funny jokes.He wrote funny comedies for 30 years.He is the king of the "folk comico calabrese" along with Micu u pulici he put a smile on everybody's faces around the world.He keep saying that some of the great young comediants (like Joe Avati)made up their career using his lines. THE VIDEO Is one of the comic sketchs included in the CD "PILU-PILU-PILU" by VINZ DEROSA, released in the summer of 2007,animated by the great ANTHONY IMPERIOLI. This is one of the funniest, out of all sketchs, contained in that CD. The story is based on the "say " that the younger generation in calabria survive on nonno's pensions. Vinz,decides to spend his holidays with his nonna back in calabria. Pretty soon he gets stuck with no money,due to exchange rate of the canadian dollar against the euro and the expensive european lifestyle,so the only chance to get some money is the "nonna" and her pension! He calls his friend Ciccio and together the live on his bike to go to the post office,where the nonna was supposted to get the money of her pension. Suddenlly a strange man who has an arabic look and accent,stops them asking if they have seen his "cow'. They say "no"; The arabic man leaves,but..... down the streets the sacred cow comes running and smashs THE THREE STOOGES on the bike: Vinz,Ciccio and Nonna Cata.
