Beethoven (1770-1827) [public domain!] Wolfgang Ellenberger plays Beethoven's "moon-light"-sonata in the most beautiful barock "Markgrave's Opera House" in Bayreuth/Germany which originally attrackted Richard Wagner to this city..... It is being played on a Steingräber & Söhne concert grand piano - the Steingräber piano factory is in Bayreuth as well. more about the pianist www.Ellenberger.name Since it is a high quality video (though a bit dark and with a few technical artefacts) of 1,17 GB it had been cut before the last accord - YouTube's limit is 1 GB.

Für Elise واحده من اجمل مقطوعات البيانو و اشهرها على الاطلاق. و ضع الحانها بيتهوفن في ابريل من العام 1810، و اهداها الى تيريز مالفاتي، وهي احدى تلميذاته و كان بيتهوفن ينوى الزواج منها. فور اليز مؤلفة في قالب الروندو الشهير، و تتكون من لحن اساسي يتكرر عدة مرات في مقام لا ماينور و دو مايجور، و جزء اوسط راقص و مرح في مقام فا مايجور، و جزء اخير غامض في مقام لا ماينور. المثير للسخريه هو قيام تيريز (قليلة الخاتمه) لاحقاُ بالتخلص من الموسيقار المتيم لتتزوج احد النبلاء، و بقي بيتهوفن اعزباً حتى وفاته. :-)
