Ingredients 1 whole chicken 1 tsp of sugar 1 tsp of salt 1 1/2 tsp of paprika 1 tsp of ground black pepper 1/2 tsp of onion powder 1/2 tsp of garlic powder 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper beer can stand/beer can Instructions 1. Heat the grill to medium high heat. 2. In a small bowl, combine sugar, salt, paprika, ground black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. 3. Rub the outside and inside cavity with the rub. 4. Tuck the wing tips under. 5. Fill a beer can stand with 1/2 a can of beer, or use a 1/2 filled beer can. 6. Holding the chicken upright, slide it over the stand/can so it fits inside the cavity. 7. Cook with the grill closed for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

BIG D's Redneck Livin fan page www.facebook.com Here is BIG D's Redneck Livin style beer can chicken after 2 hours of cooking it turned out real nice. here is everything in it. 1-whole chicken 4-5 pounds BIG D's rub 1-beer butter garlic hickory chunks Wash the chicken then dry it off. Pull the skin from the breast and put the garlic butter mix in between the skin and breast. Then sprinkle the rub all over the chicken and inside it. Then put a half a beer in the beer can chicken stand and set the chicken on it legs side down so it helps stand it up. place the chick on the grill at 300 to 350 for about 2 hours then pull it out and let stand for 10-15 mins before cutting.
