Description: The rape scene was excluded due to strong sexual content and nudity, which isn't allowed on Youtube. The real reason why I added this video was because of the masks Alex and his droogs wear (specifically Alex and the fat friend.) Don't they seem a bit familiar...?Clips taken from A Clockwork Orange. All rights reserved to Warner Bros.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A Clockwork Orange is a 1971 satirical science fiction film adaptation of a 1962 novel of the same name, written by Anthony Burgess. The adaptation was produced, co-written, and directed by Stanley Kubrick. It stars Malcolm McDowell as the charismatic and psychopathic delinquent Alex DeLarge whose pleasures are classical music (especially Beethoven), rape, and ultra-violence. He is the leader of a small gang of thugs (Pete, Georgie and Dim), whom he calls his "droogs" (from the Russian word друг meaning "friend" or "buddy"). Alex narrates most of the film in "Nadsat", a fractured contemporary adolescent argot comprising Slavic (especially Russian), English, and Cockney rhyming slang. A Clockwork Orange features disturbing, violent imagery to facilitate social commentary on psychiatry, youth gangs, and other topics in a futuristic dystopian Britain. The film features a soundtrack comprising mostly classical music selections and Moog synthesizer compositions by Wendy (then Walter) Carlos. One notable exception is "Singing in the Rain," which was chosen because it was a song actor Malcolm McDowell knew all the words to.

A Clockwork Orange is a 1962 dystopian novella by Anthony Burgess. The novel contains an experiment in language: the characters often use an argot called "Nadsat", derived from Russian.According to Burgess, Clockwork Orange was the expression of typical Cockney slang (the dialect of London), "Mechanical busted like an orange" (or "time bomb", another possible translation). The author thought that the expression could be mistakenly used to refer to a person who reacts mechanically (in Malay orang means person). In a letter written to the Los Angeles Times, Burgess said that the title and theme of the work took its cue from a serious episode in which the writer was involved, then resident in Java. His companion was beaten and raped by a group of drunken American soldiers. The author commented on how the man (in Javanese Uranga - see orangutans) is an animal driven by clockwork mechanisms. Hence the phonetic association between the beast and the fruit (orange). You can, however, that Burgess had invented the phrase as a pun on the expression "a work of nectar and when." Later (1986), in his essay Resucked A Clockwork Orange, Burgess made it clear that a creature that can only do good or evil is a "clockwork orange" - meaning that with what has the appearance of an organism characterized by loving color and juice, but in fact is just a toy In movie.. (IMPORTANT: Read the note after the intro) (EXPLANATION FOR THE OPENING AT THE BOTTOM) What can I say: I love both this movie and this song. The first time I heard about "A Clockwork Orange" in wikipedia, I thought I was going to hate it. However, after more investigation, and after watch it, it becomes into one of my two favorite movies of all time (the other one is "The Gren Mile"). The funny part about this song: I first heard it in a tribute to the famous sitcom "El Chavo del 8". However, everytime I heard it, I couldn't help but imagine scenes of the movie I have mentioned. I felt all the ultraviolence in that song, freaking awesome. Well, I hope you like it. Comment, reccomend it, and subscribe. I got problems with WIndows Live Movie Maker when I tried to make this vieo, so I used an older version in a laptop. Remeber, users: if you fell a video you're going to make is going to be a titanic work, do it while having fun, or you're going to fucking hate it, and you will care nothing about it. In this case, I had fun, my video about Batman: Arkham City was a very painful experience. And about the intro: yeah, I'm totally ripping off the cutscens of "Nostalgia Critic Fuck Ups", but I freaking love it, so I decided to make an opening. I even put the Critic in it. Enjoy the video!
